There's a few gaps that are large enough for a small skunk to squeeze through (but not a Jack Russell terrier). Our neighbours were away for a few days and they (accidentally) left their back gate open while they were gone. I'm sure it's not coincidence that that was the only time (knock on wood) when the skunk actually came by to, uh, visit.

And no, Rion smells like roses again...like usual :)juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03907349540165018465noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9602703.post-46179724372753524352008-08-26T11:45:00.000-04:002008-08-26T11:45:00.000-04:00Yikes! At least Tyler never committed that social faux-pas.
Have you got the smell out of everything yet, including Rion Scourge of Skunkdom?
Have you found how the skunk got in? they do climb trees, but I'd guess that they'd dig their way in under the fence.
And Judy, you could never be less than adorable.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9602703.post-19061966293428042672008-08-09T20:25:00.000-04:002008-08-09T20:25:00.000-04:00I was walking back to the car after an evening of ...I was walking back to the car after an evening of Katamari and Taiko with Robert when I turned the corner and saw a skunk standing right next to my car! I fled back to the front door and threw myself into the house when Robert opened the door, puzzled by my panicky reappearance. He had to come back outside with me to make sure it was gone before I could leave.
I imagine that, if I had gotten skunked, I would be less adorable than poor Rion up there.Ladyjuteahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04876141313638002059noreply@blogger.com
